How to make Valentine Cards

This post you will get step by step instructions on three different Valentine cards.

Required Materials:

Quilling strips
Card Stocks
Glue
Flower punches
Printed paper tapes
Foam Double sided tapes
Rhinestones – optional
wiggly eyes
Black Sketch pen
Black pen
White pen or pencils
Scissors

Let’s get started:

Floral Card

Step 1:

Take a card stock of 5 by 7 inches long of your desire color and draw or trace a heart shape on it. Punch few dark and light pink flowers with the help of floral punch.

Step 2:

Start sticking flowers on traced heart, as shown in above image.

Step 3:

Stick paper tape of pink color on the bottom and top left corner of the card.

Step 4:

At the end stick few rhinestones on flowers. Write “I” above the heart and “You” after heart.

Hairy Beary Teddy Card

Step 1:

Take a card of 5 by 7 inches long, you can take the card of your desired size.

Step 2:

Take 10mm Pink strip of 11 inches long. Fold the strip and hold it with a bulldog clip and start cutting the strips with sharp tip scissors. The distance between each cut should not exceed more than 2mm. Using Bulldog clip while cutting will help you to avoid cutting full strips. Similarly cut a Blue strip of the same width and size.

Step 3:

Stick both the strips together and start rolling the strip with the slotted tool. I have started with the blue color strip as I want blue color inside of the coil. Take the coil out from tool and glue the edge to secure the coil.

Step 4:

Start spreading the fringes with your hands. Start with the outer layer. This is hand of teddy, create one more such coil.

Step 5:

Take more 6 fringed strips and glue them together and start rolling it with the slotted tool. Each strip is 11 inches long. Glue the end of the strip with glue to secure it. Open the fringed with our hands. This would be the face of the teddy.

Step 6:

Take 5mm pink and Blue Strips, each 11 inches long. Glue both the strips together and start rolling with the slotted tool. This coils would be an ear of a teddy. Create one more such coil.

Step 7:

Take Brown paper and draw 3d box with black sketch pen.

Step 8:

Cut the box as shown in above image.

Step 9:

Glue the box on the card, followed by sticking all the elements.

Step 10:

Take 3mm blue strip of 11 inches long, and start rolling with the slotted tool. This would be the nose of the teddy.

Step 11:

Stick two wiggly eyes.

Step 12:

Draw balloons strings with the black pen.

Step 13:

Stick 3mm blue strips on the bottom and right side of the card.

Step 14:

Write your quote on the box with white pen or pencil.

Lots of Love Card

Step 1:

Take a card of 5 by 7 inches long and trace or draw the heart shape on it. Cut few red heart shapes of different shapes and fold each heart from the center as shown in above image.
