Materials you need are:

1. 5mm Quilling strips
2. Slotted Quilling tool
3. Card paper or any thick paper
4. Glue

Step 1:

Take a card which measures 6 by 8 inches. Leave 1.5 inches from all 4 sides and draw a rectangle.

Step 2:

Glue 5mm strips on that rectangle and draw a line inside it.

Step 3:

Take three 5mm quilling strips of green, lavender and maroon color. Stick the edges of the strips together, one over another and roll it using a toothpick. Take the toothpick out from coil and pull one by one strip to create a scroll. At the end, you will get uneven strips, cut it in one size and glue it together. Thus paper quilling scroll is ready. Create one more such scroll.

Step 4:

Take 5mm pink quilling strip of 17 inches and roll it using slotted quilling tool. Take the coil out from tool without applying glue, leave the coil in the 17th circle of the circle guide to unroll. Once the coil is unrolled take the coil out from the guide and apply glue at the end of the coil. Hold the coil with both hands and pinch it from one side to create a drop-like shape. Thus quilling teardrop shape is ready, create 6 such shape in all.

Step 5:

In this step, we will create an eye like the shape it is also called a Marquess Quilling shape. Take 5mm lavender quilling strip of 8 inches and create a loose coil. Hold this loose coil with both hands and pinch is from both sides to create “Eye” like shape. Create 6 such eyes like quilling shapes.

Step 6:

Now we will create tiny tight coils of yellow color, For this take 5mm yellow quilling strip of 4 inches and roll it with a quilling tool. Apply glue to the coil before removing it from the tool. Create 16 such tiny coils.

Step 7:

All quilling shapes required to make this card are completed, so now its time to glue them all together on a card. First will stick Quilling Scroll on a card.

Step 8:

After sticking the paper quilling scrolls, its time for sticking other shapes.

Supplies:

• Off white or Cream card stock (or any color of your choice)
• Purple and green Quilling Strips of 3mm
• Small Purple flower
• Glue
• Circle board
• Slotted tool
• Toothpick
• Curved Tweezer
• Half pearl beads

Step 1

The first coil is the largest coil, take the quilling strip of the desired size depends on the size of the coil you want. I am using 3mm Purple quilling strip of 17 inches long and roll it with a slotted tool. Take the coil out of the tool and leave it in 14th circle of the circle board to unroll. Once it unrolled carefully remove the coil from the board and glue the edge of the coil to secure it.

Step 2

For the second coil take 13 inches long strip and also the 13th circle of the board. The third coil is made from 10 inches long strip and 12th circle. The fourth coil is made from 8 inches long strip and 11th circle, the Fifth coil is made from 6 inches long strip and 10th circle and smallest coil ie sixth coil is made from 5 inches long strip and the 9th circle of the board. We need to create a pair of coils from 1 to 5, the 6th coil which is smallest would be single.

Step 3

Hold the coil and pinch it from both the side to create Marquise shape. Repeat this with all coils.

Step 4

Take 3mm Green strip of 10 inches long and fold the strip, apply the glue on one-half of the strip and stick another half on it. This will make the strip thick.

Step 5

Apply glue on the petal and stick it with the green stem. Start from large petals to small in the upward direction.

Step 6

Cut the excess stem with scissors.

Step 7

Stick the smallest single petal on the top of the shape and you are done with a first lavender flower. Create two more flowers.

Step 8

After creating 3 flowers, let’s stick all the flowers on the card. For this take card which you can decorate by sticking same color strip as I have done. Glue small flower shape on the corners of the strips and also stick half pearl on it. Apply glue on the lavender flower and stick it on the card.

Step 9

Take 2 inches long green strip and shape it with the tweezer to create a slight curve. Stick it at the bottom of the flowers.

Step 10

At the end create some flowers by repeating the 3rd step and glue it beside the stem of the flowers.

For creating this card you need…

• Black Paper of 5 inches in width and 7 inches in height
• Yellow, Orange, light green and dark green Quilling paper
• Black Cardstock
• Glue
• Crimping tool
• Quilling Slotted Tool
• Curved Tweezer
• Quilling Circle template board

Step 1

Take 2 Orange Strips and glue them together, it will be 34 inches long. Crimp the strip by using the crimping tool.

Step 2

Apply the Glue on one edge of the strip and place yellow strip (17 inches long) over it.

Step 3

Roll the Strip with the help of slotted tool and glue the end of the strip to secure it. Don’t pull the strip too tight by doing this you will not get crimping effect. Maintain proper tension on the strip while rolling it.

Step 4

Hold the Coil from both the hands and pinch it from one side as shown above. This will be the petal of the flower.

Step 5 

Take an orange strip of 17 inches and yellow strip of 8 inches and glue one edge of the strip with another strip. Roll the strip with slotted tool and glue the edge before removing it from the tool.

Step 6

Take a green strip of 8 inches long and roll it. Remove the strip from the tool and place it in the circle to unroll it. Once it is unrolled glue the edge of the strip to secure it.

Step 7 

Apply the glue and roll light green strip of 8 inches long as shown above. At the end glue the edge of the strip.

Step 8

Hold the coil and pinch it in leaf shape.

Step 9

Take 2 light green strips and two yellow strips of the same length. Glue all the strips together from one side as shown. First light green, second yellow, third yellow and fourth light green.

Step 10

Roll the glued edge and uncoil it. Pull each strip of the coil to create curve coil as shown above.

Step 11

Apply glue at the end of the strips.

Step 12

Take a yellow strip of 3 inches long and create a tight coil. Roll it with the slotted tool and glue the strip before removing it from the tool.

Step 13

Grab a yellow strip of 15 inches long and roll it with the slotted tool. Take the coil out (don’t glue the coil before removing) and allow it to uncoil a little. Glue the end of the coil and hold it with thumb and finger to pinch it to give teardrop shape.

Step 14

Take black card stock of 5 inches in width and 7 inches in height. Start Sticking all the elements on the card.
